Off to a good start so far! Bijan Robinson takes it to the house on a swing pass from Casey Thompson. 7-0 Horns early
The Red Raiders were able to move the ball across midfield on their first drive thanks to a balanced attack. The Texas defense quickly put the brakes on the push from Tech, however, forcing a punt, and taking over from their own 20 after a touchback.
Roschon Johnson with the 3 yard rush to cap a wonderful drive by Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorns. This Longhorns team has looked outstanding today!

What a sequence of events! Keilan Robinson's blocked punt is overturned since he was offsides. Tech goes for it on fourth down and completes a 9 yard pass.
The Red Raiders now at the five yard line with first and goal coming up.
At the end of the first quarter, the Longhorns are up 14 - 0 over the Red Raiders. However, Tech is creeping up as they are deep in the red zone and looking to score. We have a good one in Austin.

BJ Foster not playing his best game as both of the touchdowns by the Red Raiders have been on him. Missed a tackle on Tyler Shough's run on the first touchdown and gets beat over the top on the second one.
Steve Sarkisian is having absolutely no trouble calling plays against this Texas Tech defense.
